The Flower Hill Village Historical Gallery is the Village of Flower Hill’s very own local history gallery. Officially established by the Village of Flower Hill in September 2023 and created by Village Historian Mitchell Schwartz, the Historical Gallery’s main goals are:

  • To further preserve the history and heritage of the Village of Flower Hill
  • To strengthen pride in our community
  • To foster a love, understanding, and appreciation for local history and education amongst all members of the public
  • To serve as a valuable educational resource for our community and the surrounding areas

The Village Historical Gallery is located inside Village Hall, and it contains several historic images, documents, and maps pertaining to the history of the Village and its residents — in addition to the history of the Greater Manhasset, Port Washington, and Roslyn areas, in general. The Official Guidebook, which is available below, is a free, must-have guide for exploring the Gallery either in-person or virtually.

The Village Historical Gallery is open in-person during Village Hall’s regular business hours and is fully accessible on this website 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.

Admission is free for all visitors. All are welcome, regardless of residency.
